Nancy Panfili works mainly in watercolor and color pencil. Growing up on the shores of eastern New Jersey and summers in coastal Maine and South Carolina have attributed to her love of the ocean and landscapes.


Her education includes studies at College of New Jersey in oil painting and drawing, art history studies at University of Pennsylvania and years of painting and drawing classes at the Memorial Art Gallery in Rochester, New York. Extensive workshops home and abroad in Ireland, Scotland and Italy with artists such as Tony Van Hasselt, Judi Betts, Judi Wagner, G.A. Sheller and Carlton Plummer have inspired variety and good technique in her work.


Originals, prints and cards are available on her web site and directly from her studio in Pawley's Island, SC where she now resides. She is represented at the Boothbay Art Foundation Gallery in Boothbay Harbor, ME; The Rice Museum in Georgetown SC, and The Island Art Gallery in Pawleys Island SC.


Her work has won various awards throughout juried shows and is part of private and corporate collections including American Airways. She is a member of The Georgetown Watercolor Society and The Seacoast Art Guild. She works primarily from her studio in Pawleys Island,SC and her Maine residence in the summer.
